A: Just a homegrown programmer. I like batch files and scripts and automation. The less mouse use the better, but that's just me.

A: Nope, just like you, I downloaded DAISY from the site. I found it somewhat lacking in help and decided to provide some insite into text files. I'd prefer to help others get enjoyment out of Daisy.

Q: Do you program chatbots or AI bots?
A: Um, nope. In fact, I particularly enjoy sampling other's works. Some AI bots I have liked more than others.

Q: Do you have .dsy files that I can have?
A: I'll see if I can post some up.

Q: Do you know how to get Daisy/Billy to learn from/react to IM's/IRC/WebPage, etc?
A: No, and until Greg decides to tell us how to interface his bots with STDIN (or we reverse compile link.exe), the world may never know. Besides which, there are available chatbots out there that do that.

Q: Is there a way to convert a textfile/etext/ebook so Billy/Daisy can understand it?
A: That is why you're here, isn't it? Check back to the ai main page.

Q: Is there a way to have a list of words and their parts of speech so I can make up my own sentences?
A: I'm working on that. Probably within a week. Does about 18,000 words sound OK? I'm using a free dictionary source and VIM to sort out the words and parts of speech. One may use a "Mad Libs" type interface with fill-in-the-blanks parts of speech to create the sentence structure for Billy/Daisy. With 18,000 words, I can't guarantee the sentences created make any more sense, even in gramatical context, than Daisy/Billy anyway. But you'll have your lists.
